Privacy Policy — Platwright

Platwright sells spreadsheet templates for rental property investors and small landlords. This page explains what we collect, why, who processes it, and how to get out.

Short version: we collect an email address and, if you buy something, the purchase record that comes with it. We do not sell or rent your data to anyone, and we do not run advertising trackers.

1. What we collect

If you download the free Deal Screener

Your email address, and your first name if you give it.
The date you signed up and which page you signed up from.
Whether our emails were opened or clicked.

If you buy a template

Your email address and the details of your order — which product, when, and the amount.
Your country, when the payment processor needs it to calculate tax.
Billing information you enter at checkout.

We never see or store your full card number. The payment processor handles the card and only tells us that the payment succeeded.

If you email us

Your message and your email address, kept so we can answer and so we can find the conversation if you write again.

We do not use advertising cookies and we do not build profiles.

2. Why we collect it

To send you the file you asked for, and the link to open it.
To deliver what you bought and to handle refunds and support.
To send occasional emails about new templates and updates to the ones you already have. You can stop these at any time.
To keep the records a seller has to keep for tax and accounting.

We do not use your data to make automated decisions about you.

3. Who processes it

Two companies handle your data on our behalf. Both are outside Peru, so your data is transferred and stored abroad.

Payhip — the store and the payment. Handles checkout, payment, delivery of the file, and the purchase record. Their own privacy policy governs what they do as a processor of card data.
SendGrid (Twilio) — the email list and the landing page where you ask for the free Deal Screener. Stores your email address, sends the emails, and records opens and clicks.

Nobody else receives your data. We do not sell it, rent it, or trade it. We will only hand it to an authority if the law obliges us to.

4. How long we keep it

Email list: until you unsubscribe or ask to be deleted. After that your address is removed from the list; a suppression record may be kept so we do not accidentally email you again.
Purchase records: for as long as tax and accounting rules require them to be kept.
Support emails: two years after the conversation ends.

5. How to get out

Unsubscribe. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click, no questions, no reply needed. It takes effect immediately.

Delete your data. Write to platwrightdr@gmail.com with the address you signed up with and ask us to delete it. We will do it within 30 days and confirm when it is done. Purchase records we are legally required to keep are the one exception — we will tell you if that applies.

See or correct your data. Same address. We will send you what we hold within 30 days.

Complain. If you are in Peru, you can take a complaint to the Autoridad Nacional de Protección de Datos Personales.

6. Files you download

The templates are ordinary Excel files. They do not contain trackers, macros, or anything that reports back to us. Once the file is on your computer, what you type into it is yours and we never see it.

7. Children

Platwright is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes

If this policy changes, the effective date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be announced by email to the list.
